Anyone have any ideas how to soften a cordura shooting coat

I wonder what putting it in a clothes dryer with some clean tennis shoes would do? Try it when the wife is gone. Thunk, thunk, thunk.

Ride your motorcycle cross country in the heat of the summer. Jax,FL to Salem, OR and back. You will have great riding, memories, and a broken in jacket. Been there, done that.

It used to be common knowledge that one sleeps in a new jacket for a week. The old wisdom fades...

No wife. Not any more. Heck man I have a laundry bag I put in the washer with my shag bag full of my practice golf balls. Makes them like new again!!!

Anyone? This thing is like a board.

Isn't that what you want for off-hand shooting??! I did. Maybe Creedmoor will exchange it for a NON-hardback model? But, I never had any problem with their hardback jacket: New or used. It does loosen up and start to get like an old shoe after a period of time (that's when I bought a new one!). I say just wear it a lot...you do dry-fire off-hand frequently, don't you...and that should help break it in for you?
