Anyone have a sightron s6?

How does it compare to the siii series? To other brands?

A couple of my friends have one and they bought it for airgun field target. Its seems excellent to me; the only reason I’m not saving for one is I’ve found a preference for FFP in my application.

Problem with the 6S is the Paralax only goes to 300 yds. Its mainly for Airguns and Rimfire.

It’s a feature in airgun field target. The intent is to have the parallax adjustment wheel move as far as possible when you focus it between 10 and 55y.

I have an earlier Sightron field target model scope and it stops dead at 55y. Can’t even do 100y. So the 300m spec was a pleasant surprise to me.

Unless you have a rimfire or airgun application I’d suggest the s5 SVSS ED model instead.

I have one in 5-30x56. Don’t have a lot of time in with it yet. Comparing it to my siii plr, they both get pretty tight eye boxes towards the top end. The are both pretty dang clear. The s6 is on my 6CM, but will move it to my Kidd 22 for indoor just for fun shooting matches for the winter. FYI mine does parallax from 10yds to infinity
