Anyone Have A 40X Rimfire Bolt Stop

I am hoping some one out there has one laying around. A gunsmith lost mine and Remington does not have any.

I just ordered a centerfire bolt stop that I hope I can modify to work in my rimfire.

Some responses on the other sites have suggested after market stops like at Sinclair but they require a gunsmith to install. You can understand why I am hesitant to send my gun off again.

Let me know how your mod goes. I might try it myself.

I got in touch with Wendell at Out Back Gun Parts,812-945-0480) and he makes replacment. Heat treated and everything. They are set up for the coil spring return but he said for the torsion spring version all you have to do is file or stone since it is heat treat, a small notch for the one leg of the torsion spring. They are $25.00.
