Anyone found powder anywhere?

I'm preferably looking for 308. And would probably take almost anything now.

The websites I look at I haven't seen any of it come in. And I'm not spending that kind of money gunbroker has it for.

I've managed to pick up two 8-lb kegs of a couple of my favorite powders in the last month.

Best thing is to to put in email notifiers on your desired powders at the major online suppliers. Even then it takes a measure of luck, as availability - when it happens - is measured in minutes. If you don't see and respond immediately to the email/text, you're probably done.

But powder drops are happening, albeit still far too infrequently. You have to be quick on the draw. And you have to be lucky.

Try your LGS and look for VV powder. I picked up a # a couple of days ago at the local. He wanted to know how many I wanted! Price reputation puts people off so its easier to find than the more popular menu. They are good powders and todays prices they arent so bad as they once were. Calculate the actual difference in cost between the VVs and cheaper, or less expensive, and the cost differential over a year aint that bad, especially if you have some powder to burn.
Irony was another guy was there looking for the popular 556 & 762 powders and of cousre he left empty handed and I had powder.

I have a couple jugs of Vrgt maybe I should try for a grand a jug? I'm not going to, it'll get burned up in short order, but I'd bet someone would spring for it.

I hope this insanity moderates before too long, otherwise the liberal comrads wont have to lift a finger.

Which websites are you using?

Powder Valley has Norma 204 in stock as of a few moments ago. Don't know if it'll work in your 308, but I use it in 270 and 243 Win.

I really thought they were discontinued. But with the option to buy a lot.
I never used norma powder and really thought they were discontinued.

I have had several chances to buy powder recently in various websites. I think powder is getting more available, especially in comparison to primers. Some of those chances were available for more than 15 minutes, which is actually quite good compared to just weeks ago.
