Anyone ever use the Innovative Technologies Collect Die

The belted magnum collect die - in 7mm Rem Mag? Only use my 7mag for hunting but sure like the idea of getting as much out of the brass as possible... or buy another hundred new brass and just use them as regular stock is depleted.

Decisions decisions decisions...

I do, every time on all belted mags. Before I started using it after four or five reloads I would get some that where hard to extract.....sizing that little bit right before the belt stopped it.

.264 win mag is not always easy to get and when it is usually pricey, so easy to check and easy to correct to original dimension.

Yes, I use it on 300 WM and then resize using the shoulder instead of the belt for final base to shoulder datum. Doing this way, I can get 7-9 reloads on quality brass and maybe more depending on your load.

I have one of these dies and they work as advertised. But they are expensive ( at least here in Canada). Save yourself some money and buy yourself a small base 300 Win mag die ( other small base dies like the 300 Weatherby, 340 Wea, 7mm STW etc will also work) if you are having .200 line problems. Remove the sizing die spindle and size your case as far in the die as you can. This will take care of the .200 line. The die shoulder will never contact you 7mm Mag case. Then use your 7mm mag sizing die adjusted to bump your shoulder the proper amount and size the neck. Works for me.

Good day,

Wore out one on 500 300 WM cases, used recommended case lube so it was replaced for free. Neither would size case body below 0.510", which was barely enough to size some of the cases to fit in one of the 300 WMs I use. Redding says their new 1.25" dies will size smaller, but I don't have any data from the vendor and the 300 WM die was close to $200 not including an adapter if needed, so I haven't tested it. It would be nice to have one size down to at least 0.508" and close to the 0.505" I've found on several brands of new brass.
