Anyone ever over rpm a bullet

I have a 7 twist 243 that is doing funny things at 1k yards. Im running 3260fps so thats 335,000 rpm. Has anyone ever had similar rpm cause odd things to happen? The e targets say that 400fps slower rounds hit 1/2mil high. Thats not logical!!! Also the 400fps is not logical, you could get better ES loading powder with a damn coffee spoon!!!!But if it was for lack of a better idea melting or wobbling then maybe????

I can make a bullet smoke with a 243 and a 7tw barrel. Slow it down. Youre either destroying the bullet or its going subsonic thru the target.

1:9" Twist 204 Ruger barrel with 32gr Ballistic Tips, they didn't make it 50 yards out before comming apart.

are they all hitting the target? or are they disappearing/blowing up?
I have no idea what happens to the ones the target doesn't register. I dont see anything but my lack of recoil management doesnt keep me on target. With multiple guys on same target i cant go count holes even. I tried after match but i couldnt tell 6's from 6.5's holes on the board.

What 6mm bullet weights are your trying? To shoot? My 6mmBR with a 1:8 Twist does not like anything under 90 grainers and my 6 PPC with a 1:13.5 prefers 65s.

I had a 30 inch, 7 twist .223 barrel that would 'poof' everything I put thru it, including 80 grain SMK's if the velocties were anywhere near or above 3000 fps. 52 grainers would make a grey halo about 25 yards down range, the heavier bullets MIGHT make it to a 100 yard target, but would leave grey 'comet tail' streaks around the hole. Turned out to be, best we could determine, an extremely rough edge on one of the lands about halfway down..the barrel maker made it good, and the replacement is a tack driver.

Most of my bullets make the 1000yd target. I scored in the 160's but I get several that are nowhere near where poa was at firing. And the half mil thing always had a coresponding drop in recorded fps.

Screenshot_20180325-135536-720x1280.png now Im not a fantastic shot, but there is enough evidence of a pattern here for me at least. A lot of noncorresponding noise also. But most of the high ones show a lowered fps, most of low show higher. I pulled a few shots, but i only had 3-4 called shots outside the 9 ring.
Look at s1 5,8,10,13,14.
Now at s7,s9,6,15,20. My ability clouds it but how in the heck is/could this be happening? Im prwtty sure Its some kind of failure. This load does not have 400fps of es at the muzzle either.
FOR SURE IM CHANGING BULLETS FOR STARTERS BUT I WANT TO KNOW WTH IS HAPPENING ALSO. Thanks

Shawn, a friend of mine has a 243AI with a 1:7, and it blows up 105s over 3200fps.

He since switched to 107SMKs, and has found happiness. They shoot well, and stay together...

Do you know how far out they blew up? I have had zero failures to make a 100yd target. I have only shot 100 and 1000yds.

mine doesnt blow them up until my barrel gets fouled or hot. not sure if heat or fouling does it, since it happened on pdog hunt--I just shoot until one poofs then clean---takes 20 plus shots--not sure if this helps...?? I am way over spinning them---spectacular mist--85 gr 6.5 in 8 tw.--.284 case running hot

Are you shooting at Lodi?
Also, what platform are you shooting on (sling, bipod, rest, etc)?
Give us some specs on the rifle.
You say 105 grain bullet, but who is the manufacturer? Berger, Nosler, Hornady?

Ballpark they come apart at 200-400 yards. Generally, in a puff of white smoke. Had the opportunity to score for a top level shooter experiencing the problem at a 600 yard match. Watched a few come apart in my spotting scope. Fast twist.... rough bore, bad jackets. Or all the above.

My 6-284 would puff 105 Bergers consistently. As stated above, went back to 107SMK and never had another issue.

many years ago I did. I read Ackleys books, and got the bug to build a 22-378 Wby AI. 8" twist, by time I saw 4000fps on my 35P I was seeing vapor trails about half the time.
I could smoke every bullet out there, except the Nosler solid base 60gr bullets. Got to 4600fps before pressure stopped me.

223wssm&50 gr bullits at 4000+ fps & 10 twist barrel will make white puffs inside of 50 yds.
