Anyone else getting shorted with lapua brass?

Maybe it's just bad luck but two of the last 3 new boxes of lapua brass I have opened have only had 99 brass. I know it's only one brass but my OCD hates a box of bullets with one left and one extra primer. When I am spending 60-85 cents a piece it's really annoying. One box was 223 lot #P00817201 and the ther was 308 #P00648701.

At least it wasn't my 338 brass at almost 3 bucks a piece.

I have been buying lapua brass for almost 20 years, nammo is still new to me.

I was on their website and they want claims to go through a distributor... I don't have contact info for a distributor. I purchased these at camp perry and to be honest I don't remember who I bought them from. Probably champion shooters supply or champions choice.

I wonder who got shorted those 11? Like I said in my first post, nammo doesn't seem to care about quality like lapua did. That's poor QC in general

I would bet that batches of cases are weighed, not counted. Processes like this are usually calibrated to err on the side of having more, not less, than the stated amount. It seems that all of my boxes have had one extra.
Sounds like a machine lost calibration and some batches got out before it was discovered. They most likely use statiscal process control and depending on the sample interval this could happen. Funny that no one complains about getting 1 to 10 extra, but let it be short by 1......

I bet you will just let someone like Graffs or Brownells know about this, rather than dog the company here, you will be more than fairly compensated.

Every box of lapua .308 Palma and regular only had 99 in it. Every box of 6.5x47 had 101.
