Anyone dress up for competition?

Off topic(ish) but,

Do any of you guys dress up for competitions? Would you guys feel its cringy if you saw someone wear a suit for bullseye competitions? Pretty sure my midlife crisis is onto me in ways of not dressing like I'm 15 anymore instead of fast cars.

I saw a man in khakis and a polo shirt. I was impressed. Looked like a gentleman.
I was in shorts, T shirt, and sandals. I was very comfortable. It was hot.

I do tend to dress up and wear clothing with out holes in them.. Some times I may have a slight over sight on my shirt and have a hole or two.

Back in the late 90s when I shot skeet, everyone on my squad went to Walmart and bought the same cheap Hawaiian shirts. If you showed up without your Hawaiian shirts, you had to carry the rubber chicken all weekend.

My shooting buddy’s and myself occasionally go to a prone match where a lot of the regulars are always in their full on 511 tactical costumes.,we show up in shorts and flip flops..

Good buddy in SW Washington dresses military uniform appropriate for the firearm he's shooting for Old Soldiers matches (Old Soldiers = Korea-era or older rifles). Very cool.
