Anyone delt with OTM Tactical recently?

Made my first purchase with them, shipped through usps, never recieved. Reached out to them and usps and neither is helpful at all…

Anyone else has experience with them? They seemed to be a legit business.

If you paid the required insurance, you’ll be taken care of. If not, it’s a pretty clear agreement that it’s on you.

I love OTM. Good people. Sorry this happened though.

I order a bunch of lapua brass from them last year. All recieved no issues.

I have bought from them a few times. Bought a Nightforce scope within the last two weeks. Received quickly.

USPS can have very weird gaps in tracking. I’ve had stuff ship across the country with zero tracking until all of a sudden, it’s delivered.

Company is based in Florida but if they're drop shipping from a location in the midwest, the weather may be a factor in a delay.

I bought a rifle from an RX in DeLeon Texas. It came from a vendor. It took 16 days to get to North Florida. USPS sloooow. OTM is good to go.

I’m not real sure what to do currently.

Orders of certain amounts require the insurance. Every order below that amount has optional insurance, but it states that they won’t cover anything if you don’t buy the insurance.

First off, when did you order this item?
Have you received a tracking number?
Make sure it was picked up.
If you have a tracking number, then what does the tracking say?
If it was picked up, then it's a USPS problem.
Give it 10 days, after that you might be screwed.
Many others have bought from them, they are ok to do business with. ( me too )
They might offer that ins. cause the USPS is so unreliable and they
couldn't keep eating the losses from them.

OTM tactical is good to go. Anytime i need somthing shipped or I have the Option, I always choose USPS. THat being said. I have spoken with multiple people who I have bought things from on this forum and others about USPS. I bought a used chronograph and it took almost 3 weeks to get here. I am currently on day 10 of waiting for a check that was sent USPS priority. If you have a tracking number I would take it to the post office and ask if the post master can see exactly where that thing is.

I payed with PayPal, they already had the shipping cost added onto the PayPal bill, there wasn’t an option to add any “required” insurance on paypal. I was assuming that was automatically added to the bill what was required…

Here is the full tracking info directly from my usps local post office. According to this from usps, it appears the shipping label was created but never dropped off or scanned at a post office. I would think at a minimum even if I didn’t purchase some “extra” insurance that any legit business would at least try to contact usps and see what they can figure out. Usps tells me now I need to contact the shipper, and now I’m at a dead end.

It's very possible that USPS has possession of it and their tracking of it is screwed up which does happen all the time. I went through this same thing with that rifle I purchased Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
I just purchased another rifle today from Grab a Gun. I hope they don't ship through the USPS. If they do it will be another 3 week wait with no tracking for the first 10-15 days.

It's a little confusing because the bottom three are out of order, time wise. Makes more sense looking at the "Posting Date/Time (Central Time)" column and putting the events in the right order.

I would interpret that as that USPS had the package as of 01/09/2024, 11:09AM, Central Time.

• Shipment Acceptance @ 11:09 AM <-- I'd suggest this mean USPS scanned it in at this date and time

I sent a priority box of brass from Maryland to a member in Texas. Tracking shows it is now in San Jose CA. Go figure. Considering a lot of mail goes by air, I'm guessing the weather has interfered with normal routes.

Usps has been a total shitshow lately. Sorting centers are stacking packages , claiming they can't get to them. Big scandal about the center at Missouri City

I just bought some brass from OTM. Communication and delivery was outstanding. I suspect USPS is the problem.

OTM is legit and good to do business with, I’ve bought brass and a barrel blank from them recently
