Anyone Build Their Own One-Piece Rest?

I recently built myself a 22RF BR/F-Class rifle based on Mike Bush's new V-22S action. I've shot it in a couple of stocks - Shehane MBR Tracker in African obeche wood laminate, and McMillan Kestros, and in either stock, it's apparent that I'd benefit from using a one-piece rest. I've looked at several of these rests that a search brought up, and some (notably ones with joysticks) are obviously more complicated than I'd want to try to build in my own shop. But I like making what I can, like the stainless rest in the photo of the V-22S in the Shehane Tracker stock. I built this rest the 1st year I had my mill, using surplus stainless from a surplus store down in Wichita. Bought enough scrap/surplus SS to build two of these rests for about $43 back in 2007; last time I checked, it'd cost me over $600 to buy that same amount of SS from one of the small order metal suppliers online. So while I've got some extra time this winter, I'd like to build myself a one-pc rest for the V-22S, Suggestions, or better yet, photos of what some of the members here have built for themselves?

I built one using a Greenlaw windage top. served me well for a number of years. all I had was a drill pess and hacksaw to build it with, this why it is a simple rest. I now use a Pappas, I sold the rest to my buddy who won the 2019 AZ ARA State championship shooting off it.
