OK, I may be jumping the gun here a bit, cause I don't have much trigger time with my new 30BR yet, just finished the final touches this past weekend), but this sucker just flat out shoots. I am impressed to say the least. Just stuff 34.5 grs. of H4198 with a 118 Euber jammed, and squeeze the trigger. Oh yeah, you still gotta pay attention to the flags
. Since I found the load, Ive shot probably 20 5-shot groups with no more than .2 of vertical on any of them. Only a hand full of shots account for the .2 and with some trying conditions to boot. I only wish I could get my ppc barrel's to keep this kind of vertical control without constantly adjusting the charge weight to meet the conditions. Well now that I've run my mouth about how great the 30BR is, I'll probably drop 5 points on Sunday. Keep in mind the temperature range for all my shooting so far has been between 40 and 49 degrees. With changes like that, there is no tellin what could happen to the rifle's tune
. At least the forecast for Sunday is calling for a high in the mid to upper 40's, so I think I may even show up preloaded
.
