Anybody ordered from Midway recently? How long is their lead time?

Unlike many companies that are warning about a 3-4 week shipping backlog-delay, Midway mentions nothing of this when you visit their websight. Can anybody who has ordered from them in the last month or so tell me how long it has taken for them to ship you their in-stock items?

I ordered 5 items on the 2nd of February and according to UPS tracking it is scheduled to arrive on the 11th. I live in Nebraska and before the craziness started it took 4 days for them to deliver to me.

I ordered a few small things from them on Feb. 2, no ammo or powder etc. (as if I could get any of that) My order was shipped using UPS mail innovations(?) I think that is the name it is called. I live in MD. and it took 6 days for this to be delivered. The shipping charge was relatively small less than $5, other things previously shipped to me using UPS MI have taken about the same time.

I ordered a rifle case and some Devcon and the predicted arrival date was wednesday and I got it on monday 2 days early ;D I got to put my rifle in the new case to go shoot the Berger Nats. Good shipping as far as I am concerned.

Won't order from them anymore. They refused to ship brass to me after the NY law passed.
Do you really blame then for that? It won't be long before no one will ship anything there related to our sport.

Yes I do. Nothing in the law pertains to components. five minutes later I ordered from Grafs and Midsouth.

I'm just wondering if I'll be safe passing throught the state without hireing a lawyer.

I think the anger should be directed to the state. They do things that affect those outside of the state lines too.

It just depends on if they have it in stock or not. I recently bought a new Zeiss laser range finder and it arrived in three days, pretty much the same as everything else I order from them.

I believe that the only reason they wont ship to NY is because our new law is vague and they dont want to get caught in the friendly fire should NY come down on them for breaking andy culomo's new law.

I only need a Redding Bushing....which Midway currently has in stock. Some dealers are warning of a 3 weeks or more wait to process an order. Larry Potterfield graduated college with a degree in marketing, and it shows! While his competitors are struggling with orders, he seems to have positioned his company to be able to quickly adapt to these very rapidy changing market conditions and stay on top of his game.

As far as the challeges of living in places like NY.......WHY ACCEPT IT!!
I was born and raised in that liberal, Godless, anti-gun, over taxed, rude place. I had always despised it
and moved out of it in the late 70's when I was 24. The wife and I had made Texas our home, and we had since both excelled here very well with our own home and businesses. If you're young and in decent health, but unhappy with where you live......pack your stuff and MOVE!!!!!

The Law doesn't take effect until January 15, 2014, read the States FAQ's website here:

Jon,

I've been spending alot of time and money on fighting this crap and in the process haved learned that "We the people", the masses that is are in the dark just like they want us.

The NY SAFE Act bans us from buying ANY parts to make what we would think is ammunition, as they are following the BATFE's definition of ammunition, here:

http://www.atf.gov/firearms/guides/importation-verification/firearms-verification-gca-ammunition.html

I ordered a die set and keg of powder (both in stock) the dies arrived right away - 4 or 5 days. The powder was not in the shipment. I called CS and found out that they don't store powder in their facility, it has to be drop-shipped from the manufacturer. It can take up to 10 weeks!
I've ordered from them before and got my order right away. I just won't order powder (or primers) from them again. Brownells was real quick with their powder order.
