Any word on the Labradar App?

Vo (muzzle velocity) is at the unit by default. I have no need for other velocities and it only reads out to 100yds if you are lucky. I leave the settings at 3, 25,50,75, 100yds but dont look at them mostly. ES is real handy. I blew the mind of an old service rifle shooter. He chrono'd his short range load and the ES was over 100. Those Dillon charge bars aren't real accurate and repeatable.

That is a Labradar pro. It reads speed at specified distances instead of muzzle only or 10 feet depending where you set your traps on those others. Yeah, my 6.5 is found out to about 100 yards. But who needs more?

I wasn't sure if there was a purpose for the multiple settings other than the desire to know various speeds. Like maybe it was used in an internal calculation or to verify which bullet it was tracking, mine or the next lane.

Just finished a day at the range with the Labradar. Shoot a string get out of position, push the buttons, get back in position. Way too many button entries.

Got home saw the email about the app being available.
Downloaded the firmware and software app.

WHOW, DID I SAY WHOW? Yes whow it is a GREAT advance. One button arming! Makes this unit way better. thanks Labradar

My shooting buddy and I just bought one of these things. We got to use it Wednesday and it went really well. The thing is easy to use, and accurate. The app won't work with my smartphone, but it works great with my tablet. The smartphone appears to be an Android version issue.

I like it with the tablet better anyway, so it's all good.

I have a brand new Beta Master that's never left my house. Now it never will, unless I sell it. The setup time is so easy compared to the old style chronographs it's not even close. And of course no danger of shooting your chronograph with the Labradar.

From what I understand, it is a battery eater. So with that in mind I bought a 20,000 mAh battery to plug it in. We ran the Labradar for almost two hours at the range, and then I ran it for another 45 minutes at home, and the battery still reads 100%. I can live with that.

I managed to get my phone to pick up the Labradar by turning the phone on, running the app, and then turning on the Labradar. It seemed to pick it up that way.

In case anybody else is having the same issues. My phone is an older Samsung Note 4.
