Any Winchester 52 collectors?

I picked up a nice 52d a few years ago and put a Redfield 3200 on it. Going to have my new 52c in hand on Wednesday. Any 52 collectors out there have the a-e or even preA-postE?

Not really a collector as I only have this single B that was bought already all done up as is (in the least collector way possible) but I sure like it and how it shoots. Its set up for Schutzen rest.

4 B's and one pre A . Not a collector but I only invest in all original .
The ones I play with are the H&R 12s and the one 52B heavy barrel that has the barrel cut at 23" .
That is a good looking 52 . Any idea how it shoots yet ?
I'm glad it's a pre A and not the A that has the crack problem .
My pre A likes the fiocci super match 320 , next is the Geco sv.
Good luck and keep us posted

I have no idea how it shoots yet. I'll be brushing up on my peep sight skills this fall when I get off the road. It might be technically an A but maybe a pre marked A. From my research I think 1935 when it was made is when they made the change to the A. There is no crack on this one like some of the pre A's have.

It's not a sporting model but is a pre-war ('39) standard target model with Redfield Olympic sights. There are also the blocks for the scopes that were used before and after the war... Unertl?? Not sure what type of scope had been used. I bought it from a widow whose husband had been a competitor in match shooting in the 50's. I can truly say it will shoot better than I can.

Pre-war might be a Fecker scope.

I am not a collector either, but I have a "B Target" that was built in 1937 with an 1.5" 20X Unertl, Lyman rear sight and Redfield Olympic front sight. The rifle can out shoot my capability any day of the week.

Just shot and possibly sold an Eric Johnson barreled BSA martini . It outshot all but one Winchester . I just couldn't get the muscles to move smoothly enough for the new downward movement of the lever , especially prone . Been a bolt guy too long to start a new loading process.
Picked up an unfired 52d . Absolutely mint , not sure if I'm going to shoot it .

Did you sell the Martini??
