So I realize this doesn’t belong here, or even on this forum, so if I’m violating a rule the forum boss can certainly delete it! I’m not trying to pedal this either, but figured I have a large audience here and may be able to give someone a heck of a deal and figured why not offer this to all you fine folks? If it happens to fit someone’s need, awesome!
If not, no biggie.. it’s paid for and just not going to get used.
So I attend a lot of functions each year, one in particular is an local NW PA RMEF banquet. So last year in the live auction I was lucky enough to purchase a “fishing package” at a pretty nice Lodge on Lake Kabwtogama in MN. Really it’s a cabin rental for 4 people for 7 days. After looking at the prices at this place, I ended up getting it for almost half the cost. It was good for all dates from May - Sept of 2017 & 18.
Now obviously I had every intention of going on this trip, whether it was for fishing or just pleasure. After driving to SD on a pheasant hunt last year I figured there was no way I’m pulling my boat 17 hours to MN when we spend every free moment on the boat locally. Plus my wife has no desire to travel that far when we can be in the water in less than 30 mins here. (Granted the fishing would be much better) Since 2017 has come and gone and 2018 is here, that’s why I’m posting it for anyone who could be interested. Basically you call and figure out what days are available and have the place for a week. You also can rent one of their boats or bring your own and have a private dock. They have a very nice website that I’d be glad to pass along to view all the amenities.
If I can’t get rid of it, no harm no fowl. The money went to a good cause, but figured I’d offer it up to everyone as either a cheap vacation or fishing trip. Feel free to PM for details.
