Any tips on glueing Panda into stock?

I have decided to glue my Panda action into my Tracker stock. The action is currently screwed into place over regaular bedding material. Does anyone have any tips they would like to share. What is the best sort of glue, I canr get JB Weld in my area, is Araldite 2 part epoxy OK? I hope I dont have to dig all the old bedding material out to get to the wood or aluminium base, can I just glue the aluminium action onto the existing bedding material? Do you only bed the bottom of the action, even when I am swinging heavy 30' barrels off it?

If you're determined to do a glue in,for whatever reason), you'll want it to be bedded before glueing...so you can use the existing bedding, provided it's in good shape. Otherwise, I'd recommend rebedding and then glueing to the new bedding.

Pandas have three action screw holes. And for long, heavy barrels like you're going to use, it's best to pillar the middle screw hole as well as the f&r ones. If you're not using a seperate recoil lug and are just counting on the back of the tang to be your recoil lug, this is even more important.

I'd leave the three screws in it as well...glued and screwed.

Glue in's have been the cause for hundreds of 'bad' barrels and scopes.

You'll also need to scuff up the underside of the action for better adherence. Acetone is a great cleaning agent for good adhesion.

Thanks for the tips. Adding pillars for the middle screw is more than I am set up to do, so I will get someone else to do it for me.
Thanks for the tips.
