Any Shooters from The Netherlands on this board?

I am posting this because I am very curious to know about shooting sports in The Netherlands. My wife is Dutch, and we visit The Netherlands every year in the Spring. This is just when the weather is starting to get acceptable enough to shoot here in Upstate NY, and I am itching to shoot, but we leave to go away for about 2 weeks to a place that seems to have no place to shoot? I know that there must be ranges there? It does not help being there and seeing the flattest landscape I have ever seen. You can see for 2 miles, and all I can think about is setting up my rig and trying my hand at some long shots. What are the laws for shooting. I know there is some limited hunting there. FYI, We visit the Drenthe region.

Thanks 280man. I am just curious where they do it, and what they have to do to own a gun? The place is completely anti-gun.

Hi Mike, You are NW of me. I live near Cooperstown. I bet that is some pretty country out there where you are?

I had the privilege to meet and shoot with those guys last summer at Bisley. They are a great team and I look for them to do big things at Raton in 2013
