Looks like the hurricane winds impacted the match. Anyone got a report?

Yes. The hurricane winds impacted the results....very enjoyable day! What I learned:

Don't fire when the dust devil sweeps across the range

Don't fire when the 600 yard flag stands straight up in the air

The conditions in front of your firing point have nothing at all to do with the conditions in front of the firing point on either side of you

If you think you can make a wind call based even partially on the results of the national team members on either side of you, see Rule 3

The condition which looks the same as the last time you fired a 10 actually has a foot and a half of vertical hidden in it (this time).
I knew it would be like this when I went, this was why I went, and I would definitely do it again! Great match, extremely well run!

Yes -

Here are results from 2015 Cabela's Mid-Atlantic Long Range Regional Championship at Bridgeville Rifle & Pistol Club in Delaware:

"Sling" was won by Jon Howell firing a Match Rifle with a score of 987-44x followed by Tom Guercio with a 978-37x and Ronald Leblanc with a 976-37x, both of whom were also using Match Rifles.

Top Palma Rifles were Nate Gurnsey with a 967-41x followed by Angel Rodriquez with a 955-29x and Steve Landry with a 935-24x.

In F-Open, Andy Amber was the winner with a 966-24x followed by Hugh Cropper with a 960-22x and Dave Kokoska with a 959-33x.

F-T/R was won by Bill Litz with a 938-11x followed by Jim Hittle with a 931-18x and Todd Strasavich with a 930-14x.

Congratulations to all of the winners and "Thank You" to all of the shooters who ignored the "weather-guessers' dire predictions of rain which never came and wind which was ever present throughout both days of the Regional.

A full Match Report may be found on the Bridgeville web site at www.bville-rile-pistol.org.

A big THANKS to Cabela's and all of our really great sponsors and donors - "THANK YOU", one and all!

We had a great match last year and an even better match this year, and Bridgeville Rifle & Pistol Club
is already making plans for next year's 2016 Mid-Atlantic Long Range Regional.

As usual, we learned a lot and are already planning ways to make this an even better match on an even better range - as soon as we have the dates and the program approved by NRA we will pass the information along so that everyone can add this really great match to your 2016 schedule.

Again - thanks to all of our shooters for coming - and thanks to all of our really great sponsors!

This is hilarious...and absolutely accurate! Despite the crazy conditions it was a great match! Thanks to all! :)
