Yea thats not like me- and we had some baaad weather today. See how many dq’d today? One of the reasons i havent shot ibs600 yd in a few yrs

Dusty, Just a Question about shooting in the rain.

I have always been of the belief that there is a pressure in front of and around the bullet and rain doesn't touch it.
Is that belief wrong?

I have always been curious about this and it's effects?

Shooting in the rain- Higher humidity, possible moisture getting into the barrel.

Great shooting to hit that "bug" or raindrop. Not everyone has that much command of such a trick shot. Those other four missed so 1 hit on the "bug" out of 5 is pretty good.

Somehow they missed a 90% forecast for rain midday! That’s how accurate our weather is around here. Lol they may get some yet, I hear thunder...
The fog was extremely thick this morning and may have delayed the start.

But then i wouldnt have hit the X like i was planning. We do shoot for score as well as group

Where did the fifth shot go, I only see 4 holes.

On the shooting in the rain I can ASSURE you that rain, even a downpour does not effect the result. I would have lost a lot of money betting that it did but I witnesses the unbelievable in an outright cloudburst at 1K. Projectile was 215 30 caliber.

Maybe thats the case with a 30 cal 215 but a 6mm will miss the target at 100yds i assure you. Used to have pics from videos slowed down with raindrops exploding at br matches. Not sure if it actually hits it but it turns it into a mist. That shot on my target wasnt a rain drop- it wasnt raining but there were bugs out right at dark when i shot it
