Any one use CH equipment?

I like how they have a pretty good website but you have to mail in or call in your order.

“All products manufactured by CH4D are made in the USA by Americans at our Mount Vernon, Ohio plant. We also make every effort to find American made tooling and supplies when we make purchases. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to find everything in America anymore, so a small amount of the parts that go into our products are imported.”

Yep. One of my favorite presses. I use a 4-station. It's kind of like a progressive press but without the progressive part. Build quality is stupid nice. A mentor of mine had a few, I got one off him. If not for that I'd have never known they existed.

I have only used a few of their wildcat die sets, really great folks to deal with. However, while functional I have never really been bowled over with the quality of the dies, especially when compared to a company like Redding or Hornady. The most recent die set I purchased is better than the few earlier sets I have owned though.

I have a few sets of CH dies. They work well. Their CS is outstanding. The way things are these days ordering direct from them may be quicker, cheaper, & easier than any of the big 3 (or 4) tool makers.

I have used CH dies for many years and they have all been top quality. I personally don't mind calling in to order. That was the way you had to do it before the WWW came along. I just received an order from CH on Friday that was placed on Monday, they have excellent service. It was a belt forming die to make 240 Weatherby out of 30-06 cases. I have already formed some and the dimensions are spot on.

My first "real" varmint rig came from an older gentleman who bought it new in the 50's. Was a 722 Remington,222 with a 10X Weaver. He gave me the CH dies,IMR4198 and some 52g bullets along with the data/dope.

That was mid 1970's. He always wanted to know,"how's that load holding up"? everytime I'd see him. Knowing full well how good it was.... that rig was one Ghog killing machine. I was always impressed with the CH dies.

I had a C H shot shell loader for quite some time. Built like a tank. I have to assume this is a new company with the old name?
