Any one try this $40 bore scope?

About 7 years ago, I bought an optical device that slides over chamber end of a barrel after it is removed from the action. A light must be directed from the muzzle end. It is simply a lens of about 4x but does show the chamber and throat pretty well. It does not show the bore. The Cabela's device is probably similar, but will go 16" into either end,I assume the action will reduce the viewable area to about 10"). Viewing the throat area is very important; but a good borescope will also reveal fouling and firecracking along its entire surface. If anyone has purchased the Cabela's bore scope, I would like to hear a report.

If the device does not have a 90 degree mirror at the end, you will not be able to see detail of the lands/grooves very well.

I understand that the actual length of the tube is 11.1" and that it's image focuses about 4" from the front of the tube. If that info is correct I don't see that it'll be very useful, but that's just a guess on my part. Heck, it's only forty bucks.
