Shawn posts from time to time over on precisionlongrangehunting.com and longrangehunting.com, and once in a blue moon over on westcoasttactical.com. I've met him twice, once at a Boomershoot a few years ago,not too long after an article on one of his guns appeared in Precision Shooting) and again last year at the Idaho State Sniper Championship, which he and his partner, Carl Carbon, won. He seems to be a pretty genuine sort of fellow, and a pretty good shot to boot

ok im glad to here that i just wanted to get a little back ground before i give away my money.

I'm pretty much lined up with Monte on this. Shawn and his rifles have beaten me pretty handily at a couple of matches. He seems like a great guy who really knows his stuff about building and operating a bolt gun.

Know anybody who's willing to distract him next time I'm shooting against him?

I wouldn't hesitate to have Shawn build me a rifle, or modify one of my existing bolt guns.
