Any "off the shelf" guns in .243 with fast twist barrel?

The only thing I found in a fast twist .243 is the Ruger precision but it's no longer made and really hard to find used in unmolested form. A local pawn shop had one awhile back but wanted $1250.00 for it, it did look new in the original box but it was still used. I am vastly setup to reload .243 and would like to have something in a 1:7 or 1:8 twist to try my hand at long range with a .243. I already have a 6.5 Creedmoor and not looking to rebarrel my current gun.
Also found a Ruger #1 in .243 but the owner don't know the twist rate and those gun varied depending on the year built.

A buddy has a #1 .243, I believe it is the “varmint” model. If I’m not mistaken it’s a 7.5 twist. E

Very few options! RPR as you mentioned. I believe Christensen makes an AR rifle with 8" twist. There's a local place here that is a big parts distributor for several manufacturers and they occasionally have custom builds they've put together. Here's one:

Lately have been seeing some RPRs for just under $800. If you found one in 6mm Creedmoor you might be able to have it re-chambered in .243. I ran a prone rifle in that caliber with a 7.5" twist and 30" bbl.. Ran 107 SMK bullets around 3100 and shot some very nice scores in some fairly windy ranges. Loved it until the barrel gave up at 940 rounds. It is a burner.

I built a Remage earlier this year after having gone through the same search.

I put a Savage together with a 1-8" twist X-Caliber barrel.

I've got three X-Caliber barrels in 6BRX, and see from their website that they offer Savage pre-fits in .243 Win with 7 or 7.75 twists....good folks. Two of my barrels are 7's and the other is an 8.
