To shoot,"better"..... which doesn't mean accuracy or precision necessarily. That comes naturally as you learn. I'm a varmint chaser,hunter,and killer. And can rip off 3 shot,up through the magwell,cloverleafs pretty routinely with jacked up cast bullet rigs. But I'm usually just zero checking and heading out to the field with the dog.

I would like to slow down just a bit,and enjoy the process a little more,if that makes sense?

I’ll keep mine shooting related.

• Sell a couple of guns
• Get out and try some formal competition. Probably groundhog shoots and F-Class.
• Shoot more in the wind, worry less about developing a perfect load
• Keep my barrels cleaner (thank you Teslong)

It just came to my thought process at 11:59 pm 2019 that I have to spend a lot more of the wives money on reloading tools so I can shoot better groups.
Such a gal she said no problem.
Wonder if their is a catch to her approval???

Just about everything you listed here (won't be building a bench, people on the golf course might get a little worried ;-)) I am going to lose about 10-15 lbs, having back surgery in 2 weeks so I'll be more comfortable shooting and living! I really want to get better loading, reading the wind and having fun with my fellow competitors!

Well, I can relate to just about everyone here so far. Especially the OP.

But just to be sure to make the claim, I am 63, will be 64 in March:

God and Wife comes first
Trump in 2020, another 16 years!
Loose weight, eat better, eat less and get back into the gym
Concentrate on shooting better, refine loading process, better muscle control, wind reading
Sell boat and move back on land in preparation for retirement
Sell Ruger Precision Rimfire and Vortex HST 6-24x50 and purchase 45LC Single Six and Lever Action
