Any issues with using a Savage stock that will fit BOTH 4.275" and 4.4"?

From what I understand, XLR Industries now makes a Savage SA stock called the Tactical Lite Element that fits both the 4.275" stagger feed and the 4.4" center feed actions with the side bolt release. The way it is accomplished is by elongating the front action screw hole to accommodate both screw spaces.

Do you guys see any issue with that? I love the idea of being able to use one stock for either action (I now only have a stagger feed 4.275", but I can certainly see a 4.4" in my future. But not if it will sacrifice any positive aspect of a good bolt gun (precision, durability, solidness, harmonics, repeatable torque, etc). Any thoughts?

Does the action sit in a vee block like an hs precision or does it have a pillar system. From what I just read it should work fine.As long as the recoil lug is doing its job.

I'm not sure how to describe the inletting as I haven't seen enough pics, but the ad copy specifically states it DOES NOT use a V-block.

Here's how they describe it:

A multi-point radial cut inlet allows the receiver to sit in the chassis stress free for utmost accuracy (no V-block).

I find it odd they wont show a shot of the bedding area. I would email them for a picture of the bedding area and if they wont, dont buy it.

I wonder what diameter barrel the channel will accommodate?

Have been in touch with this company via email.
They are quick to respond, which in itself is noteworthy.

With the relief in the bottom of the bedding channel it is still a form of a vee block and I would still skim bed this area. Other than that it looks like a good solid platform.
