From what I understand, XLR Industries now makes a Savage SA stock called the Tactical Lite Element that fits both the 4.275" stagger feed and the 4.4" center feed actions with the side bolt release. The way it is accomplished is by elongating the front action screw hole to accommodate both screw spaces.

Do you guys see any issue with that? I love the idea of being able to use one stock for either action (I now only have a stagger feed 4.275", but I can certainly see a 4.4" in my future. But not if it will sacrifice any positive aspect of a good bolt gun (precision, durability, solidness, harmonics, repeatable torque, etc). Any thoughts?
