Any interest in Long Range BR on the Gulf Coast?

Our range,Moss Pt. Miss) has a nice 600yd facility and a so-so 1,000yd "area"..

We're exploring the idea of holding 600yd Br matches and possibly 1,000yd matches.

The IBS seems to think the gulf coast could use the exposure and I agree.

However we need to test the waters so to speak in order to determine if the turnout would at least be reasonable.

We currently hold NRA highpower and black powder matches out to 600.

We have some local interest, but that certainly won't justify the work and expense that would be required.

And thoughts, advise etc. would be appreciated.

:wave:Hello from Indiana. I shoot 1,000 yd. IBS BR, and I could possibly
make one match a year on the Gulf Coast. But that is a long drive for me. :, I enjoy going to different clubs, but anything over 600 or 700 miles is a little much. I have been to the Missouri club and if you talk
to Gordon Klemp he might be able to help you find shooters in your
