NBRSA's Gulf Coast region featured a HTR and VHS match Sunday, May 5, 2024 at SWLA in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Competitors enjoyed moderate temps and toughed out high wind throughout the match.
Among HTR competitors, Texan Dean Wehunt took home the Louisiana State HTR championship with a terrific 483 14X. Danny Keeney took a close second place, with a 483 10X. Mike Wall locked down third with a 482 17X.
On the VFS side, Clayton Gray was on fire, shooting an impressive 499 32X for first place. Second place was Donald Conner with 494 21X, and right behind him was Larry Tilley with 493 21X for third place.
