Any air rifle smiths out there?

I have an Anschutz Superair 2002. It's the older style with the side lever to pump the gun not the refillable cylinder type. The gun has probably 15,000 pellets through it. Problem is the other day out of nowhere it only discharged about half the air and the pellet struck low. As I went to pump the gun it discharged the remaining air. Next shot the firing pin tripped but did not fire. Went to pump again and the gun discharged. I removed the trigger assembly, pumped the charging lever, and using a brass punch held against the firing pin, tapped it with a hammer. It took considerable force to discharge the rifle and two attempts to discharge it completely. I have totally disassembled and reassembled to no avail. Any experienced Anschutz mechanics out there?
