Any 6.8 Love in here ??

I love my 6.8. It’s a 16” ar. Run mostly 90gr gold dots and 95gr tac-x out of it. It’s a great round for hunting. Also have a grendel. I enjoy the 6.8 more in the field

Some have even necked down the 6.8 SPC to 22, 20 or even 17.

Mikie: I thought about a 20 cal on that case, but had a MGM carbine barrel made up for my one TC contender frame in 6.8 spc. Makes a very handy little truck/carry rifle and shoot just fine. Fun one, for sure and puts deer and coyotes down.

The 30AR is cool in a bolt gun and it would be great as a 6.8 Also.

Funny how some of us like to "change things" around before we find out the real world results. Years back, when folks found out the "Spec Ops" groups were going to the 6.8 SPC, we were all over it. Now the 30 AR is mentioned. Will it ever end?

It's not a bad round, and if you are using it , good on ya but the Spec Ops mafia over hyped it to DoD in order to speed it through the procurement process. There were/are just as good or better rounds that could have been adopted for the AR platform without having to change the boltface.
