Any .243 Loads with the 68 Gr. Berger

I am wanting to try these for short range shooting and just checking to see if anyone has any good loads they have used. I usually use H414 powder with the light bullets.

Try 42 grains of Varget with a 210 Primer, may need to work up as it is getting towards a max load an may be in some rifles, gets 3600+ fps

Working up a bunch with Varget, H4350, H4380 and maybe a couple more if these ladder tests don't impress.

I agree with soldierofchrist, as I had great luck with Varget at 41.7gr under 70gr Sierra BlizKings.

If you happen to have any Reloader 22 powder, you might find that it will shoot that weight bullet exceptionally well. I have used it successfully to shoot 55 to 68 grain bullets in my .243 Winchester far better than any of ten other powders tried. I think that powder may be difficult/impossible to find now, but if you get your hands on any - try it.
