An uneducated, unarmed citizenry is easier to control ............ and no voting or explaining necessaryThe end game of their long march is the banning, criminalizing ownership and confiscation of all firearms.
Ever since the so called elected officials managed to pass the latest gun con control measures there has been little said of the Uvalde shooting outside of the ongoing investigation, new stories of what the local police did wrong and the pending official release of the video footage from inside the school and bodycam footage.
Yes, there has been a very noticeable uptick in shooting related stories on the local news which IMO is targeted towards the uneducated and easily misled masses to sour public opinion regarding private gun ownership
No surprise that they would want to go after scope assisted bolt action rifles as I have been waiting for them to become the next boogeyman. SMH......
Don't kid yourself. The ones that would obtain firearms illegally and/or use them in the commission of crimes will always know what they are, regardless of any legislation Kalifornia passes. After the California deal today about not exposing the children to firearms, their future plan may be to let the current gun owners die off and the younger ones will never know what a gun is.
No, I'm 67 years old and I've seen it come and go. We do well against the anti-gun crazies because our ideas and our logic are better. Not picking on you, but your reply fits this -
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
We do well because the Silent Majority agree with us. The countless millions in "flyover country" and even many in lefty strongholds think guns are just fine, that the Second Amendment protects individuals' rights to keep and bear them, and recognize the ridiculousness of the anti-gunners' arguments. As indirect proof, notice how republicans gain handsomely in the voting booths every single time gun grabbers are emboldened to try to pass radical gun control laws. And especially when they succeed in passing such laws (witness the post-1994 AWB backlash.)No, I'm 67 years old and I've seen it come and go. First thing to be banned? GRAPE KOOL AID!!OF COURSE!! IT"S ERIC HOLDER"S DREAM! REMEMBER? LITERALLY BRAINWASH
PEOPLE DAY IN AND DAY OUT AGAINST GUNS!
The problem with this is those that didn’t vote for the libs also have to suffer. And ANYBODY that keeps voting any of the lefty POS liberals back into office, deserves what they get.
Vote 2 or 3 times. If the left can do it, so can you.The problem with this is those that didn’t vote for the libs also have to suffer.
I try to not give the left fuel. When talking to my left wing professor neighbor about this article I point out how unintelligent the article his. After 12 years of living next door he bought a pistol caliber carbine. We do well because the Silent Majority agree with us. We think alike. I have said the same thing for years at matches. If the politicians knew an F class rifle can shoot 5" X's at 1,000 yards they would call them "sniper" rifles and try and ban them as well.i have predicted for several years that they will call single shot target rifles sniper rifles and go after them because they are too accurate. it is just a matter of time.
Maybe so Joe, but their work products stink. "We must be crummy teachers"And u think they are not reading this forum?
Of those who can read at all, some may. But they can't be enjoying the news gleaned lately - states like Kalifornia and New Yawk forced to loosen, grudgingly, their carry restrictions. And u think they are not reading this forum?
