Anti-galling lube for barrel threads?

What are some recommended lubes for barrel threads to prevent galling? I am hoping something readily available, automotive?) can be used. I have switch barrel and am having another built.
Thanks
Jim

I think any high-quality brand of automotive anti-seize compound should work fine. The only caveat might be: don't use too much! A little bit goes a long way if it's in the right place.

Several top-notch gunsmiths I know use this stuff - looks like aluminum "grease."

You can pay all the bucks you want for high priced anti seize. I have been using high temperature molly bearing grease for 35+ years. I do 300+ plus barrels per year and never had a problem with seizure. Now I even use it on scope base screws, and ring screws. A $3.00 tub last me about 3 years. For most it would last a lifetime. This is what is recomended by the Machinist HandBook.
