After church today we ventured out on the prairie, Here is the result. One well placed 130 gr. Berger hunting vld @475 yds out of my trusty .260 and we were smiling big. My dog decided to harass the jackrabbit population in the middle of my recovery efforts........ Excellent day all in all.

Thanks Nomad, the country and hunting here are so much more appealing then the suburbs of Philadelphia where I grew up. I also believe back in the day Crazy Horse outsmarted lots of people for quite awhile in this area. This area is not blessed with record book goats just thousands of slightly smaller ones.

It was good to be out on the the prairie with The Mrs., my dog, my brother and my eldest niece. We had a excellent family style hunt . The goat was just the cream on top. Lots of good old fashioned ribbing and silliness mixed in with a semi-serious hunt.
