I traded for this rifle and know very little about its history. I have shot it with a few different types of ammo. It's just not the same as centerfire, so was not particularly impressed. Not really a benchrest shooter though, and certainly not with rimfire. A lot of people are going to ask you what action that is from. From my personal experience I can tell you that it is from a 1600/1800 or 1900 series Anschutz. Then a better picture of the trigger with a possible bottom shot so we can see the adjustment screws. This will tell most knowledgeable people that it’s a 5018 trigger.

I bet my dollar to your doughnut that is a 5018 trigger. The good one.

That’s a good price you have on that rifle. That trigger will adjust down to 2 ounces . If it is the 5018 trigger.

Most likely a 1800-1900 match 54 serial number is too high for a 1600 series most are 18xxx and has to have an X at the end. barrel was done by Mark Chesebro most likely rifle built by him

You need a new bet Fletch. Donuts are more than a buck now. $9.98 for six Krispy Kremes at Walmart today. My father always bet dollars to duck turds when he was sure he was right. He wound up with not much in the way of duck turds and even fewer dollars. Frequently wrong but never in doubt.

The number 18 left front makes it a 5018 so the action/rilfe is a 1800-1900 series rifle. unless there is an X at the end of the serial number.
