Anschutz and Kimber

I agree with what has been said so long as it only applies to modern day Kimbers! However The 1983 Kinber of Oregon rifles made in Clackamus OR. is another thing entirely! They were definitely better and more accurate than Anschutz 64 in fact they were about equal to Anschutz 54's! And I have several Anschutz 64's and 54's

This what my wife and I shoot. http://www.brocksgap.com/matches-22-sniper/.22-sniper-match/ The only paper punching I do is for ammo testing.

Up until yesterday I never really thought much about the Kimbers. An F-TR shooter brought a little scoped Kimber he had recently purchased to our smallbore match. He had gotten it from CMP to use as a rimfire trainer. It was listed as being rusted but I didn't see any on it and that thing shot some great groups at 50 and 100 yards with off the shelf Lapua CenterX. The trigger wasn't what I would call great but it was consistent. The thing came with sights and for the money I cant see what not to like.
