Anschutz 64SBR - forearm width

I have an Anschutz 64SBR with a flat forearm measuring 2.5 inches wide. I would like to somehow increase the forearm width to 3 inches. Would appreciate any suggestions on how to do this. It has no sling stud.

Thanks!

Easiest way is to probably attach a 3" bag rider. Just make sure whatever competition you may shoot it in (if you are shooting it in one at all) allows ride plates.

Thanks, I’ve thought a bag rider would be the way to go however not certain how to attach it? I don’t have a sling stud and I don’t want to drill the stock.

Thanks again.

What rest are you using? might be since you don't want to alter the stock with no rail slot, and you don't want to drill. best would be that you get a front bag that will fit the 2.5" wide forearm.

Lee - a new bag sounds like my best option. I use a Seb Mini with a 3” wide bag, I’ll see if Seb makes a 2.5” bag.

Thanks

Here's how I did mine as a DIY project...3-inches wide. Several years ago I played around with DIY fore end attachments to convert regular prone stocks to F-Open configuration. Pictured is my first attempt, which was laid aside for better things. A few months ago, in need of a quick Vudoo stock, pending arrival of a McMillian(!), I added the fore end to an abandoned NRA HP stock of deep yesteryear, and gusseted it up a bit til' the McMillian arrives. Shoots great...might have a McMillian for sale!! :) ;)
