I am new to this forum and was wondering if someone might help me please. I am in the process of purchasing a new gun and cannot decide what the best style of stock is. The choice is between a standard classic style stock or a monte Carlo style stock. I have never had a gun with a Monte Carlo set up before. With the Anschutz 1710 it seems that if I get the monte Carlo style stock I also get iron sites. If I go with the standard classic style stock I get no sites however I get a heavier barrel. This gun will be used primarily for squirrels and groundhogs as well as target shooting. This will be my first high-end rimfire. I am also concerned with how the style of stock may impact the potential resale value should I decide to sell it one day. I would truly appreciate any opinions you all may offer thank you.
