Anschutz 1702 problems

I just was out shooting my Anschutz 1702 17M2 today and it was not ejecting empty cases very well. Around 70% would either stay in the action or ejected out the left side of the action. No matter how I worked the bolt: slow, fast, hard or soft it didn't matter. Has anyone with same model had the same problems? If so, were you able to fix the problem and how did you fix it? Thanks for any help.

How do the spent cases look? I remember they had problems with split cases ansd necks in that ammo when it first came out.

I would remove the spring holding the ejector/extractor and clean the slots that they sit in.
