Anschutz 1517 MPR accuracy problem

Hey guys, I just can't get it to shoot well. It might put 2 in the same hole and the third an inch away. I have tried all brands of ammo with the same results. The scope mounts are tight and it shoots poorly at 50 or 100 yds. Any ideas what my problem might? I am using quality front and rear rests and am a capable shooter. Thanks - - - Harvey

I suspect this has probably already been done, but have you checked the action screw tension?

If so, have you checked to assure the barrel is free floated?

I know mine likes to be kept CLEAN! After 40 rounds or so accuracy drops off. Also I noticed that the very front of the stock touches the barrel. It doesn't seem to effect accuracy but eventually I want to make it truly free floating and bed it.
