Another "What's it worth"?

Recently picked up a Cooper model 22 in 6.5x284. I can't tell if its been fired but won't say it hasn't, but the barrel and bolt face are spotless. The stock has some very minor bumps that you have to look for so its what I call very nice condition. It has a Ken Farrel 20 MOA base on it also. Its a made in Montana rifle if it makes a difference. I feel like I got a very good deal but I can't find a value anywhere. Just to add, it came with 90 rounds of loaded ammo in Lapua brass and 160 pieces of new Lapua brass and a 50 count box of Nosler brass and a set of RCBS dies.

I'm just curious as to the value of the rifle, not the components. Thanks!!

I didn't know where to put this so I just figured the 6.5 forum as best.

Using the advanced search function on Gun Broker, you can see what similar rifles actually sold for recently. That is probably as close you can get to a realistic value.

I have used the Blue Book of Gun Values over many years. It is an absolute wealth and trove of useful serial # ranges and model iterations. Most of the online platforms tend to demand the highest prices. In my opinion the Blue Book is more realistic. If you are looking to make a huge profit from your good fortune, I guess take an average of a few examples on those online platforms and then sit and wait.

Some era Cooper values suffer from former owners posted support and $$$$$ donations to the democrats presidential elections. IIRC, it caused him to sell the company. The employees he sold to have a much higher value, IMHO.

If it has a decent wood stock and in the condition you describe, they usually are worth $1500 - $2000 for a standard grade varmint single shot, sometimes more depending on cartridge that it’s chambered for and the buyer.
