Another "What the heck is this?" Question

Picked this up from a friend of a friend type deal. I don't have a clue. The baggie label says "Freedom Accessories"
Gun/Pistol mount w/
45/40/9mm/22 rails. They look more like an arbor to me. Coated with something soft to touch, but not spongy.

The "head" is indexed every 30 degrees and can rotate (see pic 2 and 5). It is threaded for the arbors. I didn't recognize the logo on the end of the head. See pics! And good luck!

I got it! It’s a fancy pistol storage mount! Screw the base to your safe wall, dashboard, truck floorboard, etc. . The rubber coated “arbor” slides in the barrel.

Maybe a holder for working on pistols? Clamp it in a vise, or mount it to the bench, & the padded arbors go down the barrel to hold the pistol at different angles? Kinda like a 3rd hand.

With the machine Dovetail ways and what appears to be two recessed mounting through holes ;

I'd venture a guess as a Pistol mounting fixture for perhaps milling or engraving ?.

Do the rubber barrel rods somehow expand as their tightened ?

Crap on a cracker , I failed to read what it actually is !. Makes sense I guess I've never seen one of those where a Gun mount is supported via it's barrel only . Is that for Saturday Night in Chicago ?
