Greg has been my go-to man for difficult challenges in the past and again saved the day for me recently. I had several bolts where the Remington extractors were not working properly because the bolt recess was not cut right. I spoke to many smiths and manufacturers about this and it was difficult to find anyone willing or able to fix the problem. Long story short is now my bolts work flawlessly and Greg fixed them for a very reasonable price with a super-fast turn-around. This saved me from having to get new bolts made and all the associated hassle that entailed.

Greg saved a bolt for me that was bushed by someone and his concern was getting it out and doing his magic. I got it back in under 6 days total and it looks perfect and have shot many rounds with fairly hot loads and it is still perfect.He is a good guy for sure.

After years of reading the positive detailed feedback about Tannels work, I have no doubt that I would be dealing with a meticulous craftsman!

My friend has had several rifles built buy Greg they were all exceptional shooters. He did a bolt for me that another smith screwed up and wouldn't fix. It came back in a week and was perfect, no excuses cause he did what he said he would and delivered when he said for the money he said. I would send him any gun I own. He is also the go to guy for night vision, he says he's owned them all and knows what works and what doesn't. A class act no doubt, I wonder why he can deliver when he says and many others just come up with excuse after excuse.
