Another insect lost it's life today

I ordered it May 9th received it May 27, I had checked before myself and didn't see one listed either, so I was just looking around and seen it, but as soon as I ordered that one, that style was not available anymore. The bolt release, safety had to be cut in, the barrel channel took a lot of work and the rear of the receiver inlet had to be lengthened about 3/16" to the rear.

It looks like they are a regular item on Boyds website again. How is the comb height with that scope? Do you get a good cheek weld?

Using high rings, everything seems to be ok, I don't like having to jam my face in the stock.

Due to many of the prairie dog towns I used to shoot in being poisoned-out over the past 25-30yrs, I've made the most of the occasional big old 'bottle fly' incursions on my paper targets while shooting 22RF rifles. Even went so far as to take an old cheap bottle of 'store brand' imitation maple syrup out and put drops of that thick, gooey syrup on cardboard backers, then sit back and wait for a 'target of opportunity' to light 'n sit. No real need to use HV HP ammo on these thin-skinned varmints...lol

And another one bites the dust, was testing some tac 22 today in the Tikka and the anshutz, they didn't seem to care for it so I switched back to CCI sv just to see if it was me.
