Another good day with the 22BR

Went out yesterday to a alfalfa field that has just been cut. As I was parking,I noticed one in a low spot of the field feeding so I knew it was going to be a productive day.

Ended up getting five. Missed two. Both shots were high.My fault...not the rifles. lol Also hit another one low but it managed to crawl down it's hole. Saw a total of eleven hogs.

Kill shots were from 200yds - 370yds.

These two were huge. The biggest one weighed about 17-18lbs.

All in all a very nice day to be in the fields.

Thanks guys. Yeah those two in the first pic literally were "hogs". lol Alfalfa really packs the weight on them.

Went out again today to the same field but forgot my camera. Saw ten ghogs and connected on five of them. Missed two again today.One of the misses was 487yds. but could not see the bullet splash in tall grass.That part of the field was not cut yet. I guess 5-7 ain't too bad.

Shots were from 180yds.-383yds.

I know most don't eat them but you really should try it, it is pretty darn good. Porcupine is good too.

Hi Immortal, beautiful rifle and some really big ground hogs. It looks like you have hit on an area where they haven't been hunted for several years.
