Another Gadget and Another Buck Saved

Gadgets, to paraphrase a famous quote, are born of necessity. They're also born out of a lack of available cash. When a necessity connects with a lack of available cash it's time to get creative.
I needed a tool for ejector removal/replacement. So I made one and I'd like to share my experience with anyone who might like to read about it.
So, here's the link:

Way to go there, that little spring will get away from ya in a hurry. Now you can do it with out it getting away.Might just have to build one one day myself.Who would have thouhgt to how easy it would be,thanks for shareing

Lots of ingenuity here!............ Seems like half the fun of shooting/ reloading is making your own special tools. Nice job!

You do really nice work. For those who may be more challenged in that area, if you start the retaining pin with a punch of about the same diameter, and then pull the end of a zip lock bag around the end of the bolt, wrapping around the punch slightly, the bag will contain any launching of the ejector, when the punch is removed.

Very nice. Make a few more and take it to market.See how fast you can sell 15 or so and you might have another source of income. I'll offer $15 for an exact copy for my 40X. Tom
