Another BnA question

I have a BnA Competition in two Panda actions and love the trigger. I also have two Barnard P actions in McMillan Stocks and would like to put the BnA Barnard trigger on them as well. My question is will there be a lot of modification necessary to the stock to fit the trigger into the McMillan’s with “V” blocks? I know shooter’s that use the BnA in their Barnard but all are using modular stocks.

Crickets? I’m surprised no one has put a Bix n Andy Barnard trigger/action in a traditional F Class stock.

They still sell bats and pandas
I know Dusty, I have three other Pandas. I just acquired the Barnards about two years ago and like the hefty feel. I talked to Alex Sitman and of course he’s willing to do the inletting but I wanted to see if it’s something I could do myself.

Bix &Andy makes a Barnard specific comp trigger. It doesn't change the geometry/location of the trigger shoe.
I have one on order from bullet central

You can put any action into any stock. You may want it painted afterwards according to your level of class

If you will carefully read my OP I stated that I wanted to put a BnA “Barnard” trigger on my two Barnard actions. I have discussed this with John Whidden (Barnard distributor now that Mack Tilton is no longer in the picture) and he believes as the BnA literature states the trigger sits further towards the rear than the Barnard trigger and will require modification to the stock to fit properly. I had hoped someone had already had this done and could advise as to the degree of difficulty in modifying the stock.

I emailed B&A and was told the above trigger is a true drop in fit with no change in geometry. Maybe they lied?

Theres always room to grind out the area behind the trigger. You may get into the pillar according to its diameter, but theres room or the screw wouldnt go in.
