I have read every thread I could find on this site and a few others trying to find info on loading this projectile, lots of into on scentars, amaxes but not much on the SMK 123. I got everything nailed for the heavies in the other thread I posted, one thing that sticks out to me is the importance of seating depth. I picked up a load recommends at 39.3 gr of Varget or 44-45 of H4350 as a node to work around. What I cant find is seating depth, is it jammed or off the lands? Thanks in advance for the info and thanks for all the other info I have harvested here, it is a great help in spending my beer money on something other than beer.
Another 260 load question on 123 SMK's

Master, I do not have a .260Rem... However, I have a 6.5 x 47 Lapua, which is very close to the .260... I use the 123 SMK's in my '47... I use 38.0grs. of RL-15 with the 123's seated 7-8K INTO the lands... It shoots very well. This is NOT anywhere near a hard jam>>it is more like "setting the bullets" into the lands.. With 1.5K neck tension OR MORE you can pull the case out WITH the bullet still in the case!!
