I'm watching thread, as I'm in same boat. $175 min batch cost at most local places for type 3 hard coat. Not bad, just cost of chemicals for the batch...

Swing by your local production machine shop and see if theyll throw it in on their next shipment. Its a batch cost for them. You can make buddies and get some cool scraps too
