Annie Induction Annealer

I posted some more information on annealing times etc on another thread on the forum here
http://forum.accurateshooter.com/threads/all-annie-owners.3916829/

I also added a description and pictures of a fixture I built and use in an attempt to accuritize the Annie anneal process.
This was very cheap (ebay sourced plastic and glass rods) and VERY easy to build (only tools needed a simple cheap table drill press, or hand drill if you are steady).

I, too, felt the main advantage of the AMP, besides getting custom pgm for your case, was accurately holding the case in the flux field. My seating forces immediately improved a bit as to consistency.

Patiently awaiting mine. Thought about the torches but too many variables in my mind . Norm, I really like your glass rod setup. Too cool and easy.

Have you found the glass heating up at all? If so, I could see the times changing a bit. May be a moot point though.

SRM,
No, I haven't noticed the glass rod getting hot at all. In fact, the melting point of glass is in 4 digit temps and no problem as the rod only touches the case at the very base where the brass temp is lowest.
