Annie annealer and dasher

Just got the Annie annealer and need to anneal the dasher brass
My templaq stick dried up and others on the way.

Anyone using the Annie with dasher brass have an initial set to g to jumpstart me?

On my Annie, with a 6BR, I set the case/neck junction at the middle of the coil, and I use 2.5 seconds.

it depends on what is doing the annealing. I have the water cooled coil and use 1.7 seconds on plain 6BR (Lapua) brass.

Are you getting any bright orange in the neck at that number?

I played with scrap brass and 2.2 regular coil gives me bright orange about 50% of the neck for just a split second.

I have to order the water container for the water coils.

I should have clarified the end of the neck, not the neck to shoulder junction set to the top of the coils. I don't get any bright red with that setting and see a similar anneal pattern to the stock Lapua brass.

I had set mine up with the 750 Tempilac on the necks, and 600 ? on the body. As noted by Pakratt99, I was going for a similar pattern of anneal as a new 6BR Lapua case. I achieved it with 2.5 seconds on a water cooled coil, with the neck/shoulder junction approximately in the middle of the coil.
It is important to have a set up that repeats the location of the case in the coil, then all you have is annealing time to adjust.
